Born in Cali, Colombia, Oscar Collazos sat his parents down when he was 7 and suggested they leave the country. His parents listened. Actually, that didn’t happen. It was more like they grabbed him and ran from the war-torn country. A bit disoriented, he was placed in 2nd grade the day after his arrival with zero English-speaking skills. Despite barely speaking the language, he was voted funniest person in 3rd grade, an accomplishment he’s still very proud of. Oscar went on to intern at Late Night with Conan O’Brien. After graduating from the University of Florida, Oscar went on to be one of the most sought-after comedians in the South Florida area. During his time as a regular at the Miami & West Palm Improvs, Oscar opened for stars such as Tracy Morgan, Tommy Davidson and Daniel Tosh just to name a few. In 2005, he took his talents to New York City where he is now an established comedy club regular.
